Historical Studies on Tucson's past are being conducted by Mike Webber of Cultual Connections Inc, and by J. Homer Thiel of Desert Archaeology Inc.

Cultrual Connections Inc. is preparing a visual archive and annoted bibleography of the Spanish and Mexican periods of Tucson's Past. To learn more about this research, select the "Visual Archive Project" link to the left.

J. Homer Thiel is currently busy both preparing for the upcoming Tucson Presidio excavation, and combing through historical documents to create archives of historic records that document Tucsonans from from 1791 to 1874. These documents take the form of troop rosters from the Tucson Presidio, Census records, and historic school registers. These records are available to you to search in our "Historic Records" area, just follow the link on the left side of this page.
